Ghaster Painting whose President, Brad Ghaster was recently named President of the Painting and Decorating Contractors Association, AZ Council, is actively participating in the organization of this year’s PDCAZ charity event.

Every year, members of the AZ Council join forces to give back to their local community by donating their time, equipment and painting materials for a worthy cause. This year, the beneficiary will by the Boys & Girls Club on 10515 Lakeview Drive, in Scottsdale, Arizona. The scope of work at this location is expected to include exterior block/window wash, doors and trim.

PDCA represents over 10,000 owners and top-flight managers from more than 3,000 painting and decorating firms across the U S. and Canada. PDCA Standards benefit the painting and decorating industry and the entire construction and design community.

"These types of events are very important to all of us. They represent a great opportunity for our members to work together for a common and worthy cause. We try to select buildings and non-profit organizations that could reallyl benefit from saving several thousand dollars in painting expenses if we can assist them in that area. In the past couple of years, we have painted buildings for the 100 Club of Arizona, Crisis Nursery Center, and the Phoenix Children's Hospital," said Brad Ghaster.

The charity event will take place on March 17th starting at 7:00 AM at the above Boys and Girls Club Location. PDCAZ will also provide lunch and a prize raffle will be given away for volunteers at the end of the day.
